Our Mission
Hope Reins Foundation Wellness Center enriches our community by fostering healing, resilience, and personal growth for youth, families, first responders, and veterans. Through trauma-informed equine experiences guided by the EAGALA model, we create safe, hands-on opportunities that nurture mind, body, and spirit, helping individuals transform challenges into lasting, positive change.
Our Vision
A community where every individual—youth, family, first responder, or veteran—has the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive, empowered by transformative equine experiences that nurture mind, body, and spirit.

What is Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)?
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is an evidence-based model of psychotherapy that uses a team approach. Each session includes a licensed mental health professional, an EAGALA-certified equine professional, the client, and our therapy horses. EAP has been shown to have a profound impact on children, youth, families, first responders, and veterans, addressing a variety of mental health challenges including PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, ADHD, and autism.

Why is EAP Beneficial?
Clients already hold the answers within themselves. EAP invites individuals to step into a guided experience with horses that helps them see their emotions and behaviors and understand how these patterns impact themselves and others. Through this process of self-discovery and awareness, healing and positive change occur naturally.
All activities are completed on the ground—no horseback riding or prior experience with horses is necessary.
